Medjugorje

From 1961 - 1965 apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangel were reported to have occurred in the small village of San Sebatsian de Garabandal in Spain. Located in the Cantabrian mountain region, pilgrims flocked to the site as word spread of the apparitions. Visionaries explained that the messages the apparitions relayed was for conversion of hearts and encourage penance and devotion to the Holy Eucharist. They also explained Our Lady’s appearance as quite similar to that our Our Lady of Mount Carmel – and hence, she is also sometimes referred to as Our Lady of Mount Carmel of Garabandal.

Knock
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Knock is the National Shrine of Knock and one of the most visited Marian Shrines in the world. In 1879 fifteen people ranging in age fro 5 to 74 witnessed the Marian Apparition on Mary’s Hill in County Mayo, Ireland. The visionaries described three life-sized figures of Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. John the Evangelist beside an altar adorned with angels, a cross, and a lamb in front of the gable of the church. Guadalupe
Located in Mexico City, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a National Shrine and the most visited Catholic Pilgrimage destination in the world.
