Dr. Scott Hahn is the Fr. Michael Scanlan Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the Founder, and President, of the St. Paul Center, and an apostolate dedicated to teaching Catholics to read Scripture from the heart of the Church.

Dr. Hahn has been married to Kimberly for forty-two years. They have six (6) kids and twenty-one (21) grandkids. They also have one son ordained to the Diocese of Steubenville, Fr. Jeremiah Hahn.

As the author and editor of over forty popular and academic books, Dr. Hahn’s works include best-selling titles Rome Sweet Home, The Lamb’s Supper, and Hail Holy Queen. His most recent releases are titled Hope to Die: The Christian Meaning of Death and the Resurrection of the Body and It is Right and Just: Why the Future of Civilization Depends on True Religion.

Kimberly Hahn has been married to Dr. Scott since 1979. They met at Grove City College, where Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, magna cum laude. While Scott studied to be a pastor, Kimberly earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at the same school, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, graduating in May 1982, magna cum laude.

Kimberly became a Catholic at the Easter Vigil of 1990 in Joliet, Illinois, after a difficult struggle during the four years following Dr. Scott’s entrance into the Catholic Church. She completed a book with Dr. Scott on their journey into the Catholic Church entitled Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism, which has been translated into more than twenty languages.

In addition to Rome Sweet Home, Kimberly wrote Life-Giving Love: Embracing God’s Beautiful Design for Marriage. In addition, she wrote a four-volume series on the Proverbs 31 woman: Chosen and Cherished; Graced and Gifted; Beloved and Blessed; and Legacy of Love. She has also contributed chapters to each of the four volumes of Catholic for a Reason, as well as The Gift of Femininity and The Fabric of Life.

Kimberly homeschooled her children for twenty-six (26) years during which she co-authored with Mary Hasson a book on Catholic education entitled Catholic Education: Homeward Bound. When she retired, she ran for Steubenville City Council and has won two terms as Council-at-Large.

About The Holy Land - In the footsteps of Jesus:

If you desire to draw closer to Jesus of Nazareth, come, as we follow in His footsteps. Each day of your pilgrimage you will have time to renew and affirm your faith; to pray and reflect. The Scriptures will come alive as you visit Our Lord's homeland. You will be inspired by the natural beauty of the landscape, in addition to its rich historical heritage It is an encounter that has changed the lives of many pilgrims, an act of faith and prayer. Pilgrims have been traveling to the Holy Land for hundreds of years, and as part of your pilgrimage, we include many of the rich traditions that have evolved over time. The maxim at the entrance to the Church of the Nativity says: "We are hoping that: If you enter here as a tourist, you would exit as a pilgrim. If you enter here as a pilgrim, you would exit as a holier one." We pray that same will occur when you join 206 Tours pilgrimage.
