TRIP CANCELLATION & TRIP INTERRUPTION

Benefits can be paid for unused non-refundable Prepaid Payments or Deposits You paid for Travel Arrangements (for Trip Cancellation) or to reimburse You for the Prepaid Payments or Deposits for unused non-refundable land or water Travel Arrangements plus the Additional Transportation Cost paid (for Trip Interruption): Some examples of reasons for Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption that can be covered:

• Trip Cancellation / Interruption coverage
• You or a Family Member or a Traveling Companion or a Business Partner's covered Sickness or Injury.
• You or Your Traveling Companion being directly involved in a traffic accident, while en route to Your scheduled point of departure.
• Inclement Weather that causes complete cessation of services of the Common Carrier on which You are scheduled to travel.

TRAVEL DELAY

Benefits can be paid if You are delayed for 6 hours or more while en route to or from, or during Your Trip, some examples of reasons for Travel Delay that can be covered:

• Trip Cancellation / Interruption coverage
• Delay of a Common Carrier
• Lost or stolen passports, travel documents or money
• A documented weather condition preventing You from getting to the point of departure.

MISSED CONNECTION

If you miss Your cruise or tour departure because Your arrival at Your Trip destination is delayed for 3 or more hours.

BAGGAGE AND PERSONAL EFFECTS

Benefits can be provided against all risks of permanent loss, theft or damage to Your Baggage and Personal Effects.

BAGGAGE DELAY

Can reimburse You, for the cost of necessary personal effects purchased by You, if Your Baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours during Your Trip.

PRE-EXISTING CONDITION EXCLUSION WAIVER

The exclusion for Pre-Existing Condition will be waived provided:

• Your Payment or Deposit for this plan and enrollment form are received within 21 days of the date Your initial Payment or Deposit for Your Trip is received.
• You insure all Prepaid Trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions and also insure the costs of any subsequent travel arrangements added to your trip within 21 days of their purchase.
• You are not disabled from travel at the time your plan cost is paid.
