Itinerary
Day 1 | Tuesday, June 8: Depart for Amsterdam

Day 2 | Wednesday, June 9: Arrival in Amsterdam
• Upon landing at Amsterdam Airport, make your way to the baggage claim area and collect your luggage.
• Proceed to the Arrivals Hall, where you will be greeted by your tour guide and/or driver before transferring to your hotel.
• We’ll spend the afternoon and evening exploring some of the secular sites in Amsterdam, such as a scenic canal tour or a visit to the Zaanse Schans windmills.
• Dinner and overnight in Amsterdam
Day 3 | Thursday, June 10: Our Lady of All Nations & Amsterdam
• Following breakfast, we’ll begin the day with a visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of All Nations. From 1945 to 1959, Our Lady reportedly appeared to a woman in Amsterdam named Ida Peerdeman. The alleged messages spoke of a 5th Marian dogma in which Our Lady would be proclaimed “Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix, and Advocate.” Throughout the centuries, these titles have been used by popes, saints, and mystics to describe Our Lady’s role in redemption and they are theologically sound. The titles do not signify that the Virgin Mary is God or the Redeemer, but that she uniquely cooperated with, and under, Christ in the salvific work of Jesus. As St. Paul notes, all Christians are called to be co-workers with Christ in His saving mission (see Col. 1:24).
• The rest of the day will be dedicated to exploring more of Amsterdam, including its historical city center and other key sights.
• Dinner and overnight in Amsterdam.
Day 4 | Friday, June 11: Antwerp, Ghent & Bruges, Belgium
• Following breakfast, we’ll travel to Antwerp for a brief visit after crossing the border into Belgium.
• We’ll continue with a visit to Ghent, known for its medieval architecture and charming streets. Visit the beautiful gothic Cathedral of St. Bavo and see the world renowned altarpiece by Jan van Eyck titled “Adoration of the Mystic Lamb.”
• In the late afternoon, we will continue to Bruges, a lovely city often referred to as the “Venice of the North.” You will be delighted by the fairytale charm and picturesque beauty of Bruges. Visit the beautiful Basilica of the Holy Blood. The Basilica is famous for having a cloth that contains the blood of Jesus. The tradition is that Joseph of Arimathea, who helped Jesus carry His Cross, preserved the cloth with the precious blood when he washed the deceased body of Jesus after Our Lord was taken down from the Cross.
• Dinner and overnight in Bruges.
Day 5 | Saturday, June 12: Brussels & the Martyrs of Gorkum
• After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Bruges.
• In the afternoon, we will head to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Here, we will visit the Church of St. Nicholas where are enshrined the relics of the Martyrs of Gorkum. These martyrs were a group of 19 Catholic priests who were hanged for their Catholic faith by a mob of Protestant Calvinists on July 9, 1572. The Martyrs of Gorkum were canonized on June 29, 1867 by Blessed Pope Pius IX.
• Dinner and overnight in Brussels.
Day 6 | Sunday, June 13: Our Lady of Beauraing & Our Lady of Banneux
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Today will be an exciting day as we visit the Marian shrines of Our Lady of Beauraing and Our Lady of Banneux. Both of these approved Marian apparitions took place in the 1930s. In both apparitions, Our Lady appeared with a rosary draped over her arm and spoke to the respective visionaries of the need for conversion and prayer.
• Dinner and overnight in Banneux.
Day 7 | Monday, June 14: Aachen, Germany
• After breakfast, our destination is Aachen, Germany! We will visit the historic Aachen Cathedral where many of the kings of Germany were crowned. In 1978, the cathedral was one of the first places to be listed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. In addition to housing many relics of saints, the cathedral also contains the throne and grave of Charlemagne.
• Explore the historical center of Aachen.
• Dinner and overnight in Aachen.
Day 8 | Tuesday, June 15: Kevelaer & Cologne
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Today we visit the famous Marian pilgrimage site of Kevelaer. Existing since the 17th century, the pilgrimage site contains a beautiful Marian Basilica and is the most visited Marian pilgrimage site in north-western Europe. It is visited by more than 1 million people a year. Pope St. John Paul II and St. Teresa of Calcutta visited the shrine in 1987. Take time to pray and ask Our Lady to take your petitions to her Divine Son.
• In the afternoon, we will continue to Cologne, famous for hosting World Youth Day in 2005.
• Dinner and overnight in Cologne.
Day 9 | Wednesday, June 16: Cologne
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• A full day dedicated to exploring the historical city of Cologne, including its Old Town and its significant churches, especially the Cologne Cathedral. The cathedral, dedicated to St. Peter, was established as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Located on the banks of the Rhine River, the cathedral’s gothic architecture is a site to see! At 515 feet, the cathedral is the tallest twin-spired church in the world. Located in the cathedral is a golden reliquary containing the remains of the Three Kings of the Nativity.
• Dinner and overnight in Cologne.
Day 10 | Thursday, June 17: Cologne - Kevelaer – Amsterdam
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Today, we say goodbye to the city of Cologne and make the journey back to Amsterdam. On the way, we re-visit the Marian shrine of Kevelaer and once again ask Our Lady to intercede for us and always watch over us. This extraordinary pilgrimage site is a place you will never forget!
• In the afternoon we continue to Amsterdam for a farewell dinner and our final overnight stay.
Day 11 | Friday, June 18: Departure
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, transfer to the Amsterdam airport for return flights home.
