The Red Lion Inn offers four unique lodging experiences. From our iconic Main Inn to the modern country feel of Maple Glen to the unique houses in our Village, each exude their own distinctive style and character. No two rooms or buildings are the same.

THE MAIN INN

Each of the 82 rooms and suites in the Inn has been individually decorated, giving each space its own unique character and charm. Featuring antiques and objects thoughtfully sourced over time, no two rooms are the same. Every room tells its own story.

The common thread in all of our rooms is the amenities and creature comforts we provide. For your convenience, every room includes the contemporary amenities you’ve come to expect when you travel, such as; a flat-screen television, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, telephone, luggage rack, and free WiFi.

To make your stay feel a little more luxurious, guests at the Inn can indulge in our terry cloth robes, Red Lion Inn boutique bath products, and of course plush bedding and linens, for an unforgettable sleep.

VILLAGE HOUSES

A number of unique guest houses are sprinkled throughout The Red Lion Inn Village. Much like our rooms at the Inn, each space has a unique layout and boasts its own personality and charm through by design.

Our village house rooms are the perfect solution for families or large groups, with the option to book individual rooms or an entire house.

By opting for one of our village house experiences, you miss out on absolutely nothing! All of our village house spaces offer access to all of the in-room and on-property amenities afforded to those staying at the Main Inn.

MAPLE GLEN

Located just a two-minute walk from the lobby of the Main Inn, Maple Glen is a great choice for guests looking for a more modern country experience. Exuberant colors, eclectic décor, rustic architecture and New England charm all contribute to another unique on-site lodging option.

In addition to the in-room amenities all our guest can expect, Maple Glen residents can also enjoy in-room Nespresso Machines, heated bathroom flooring, rain-head showers, and private parking. Maple Glen also features its own common space area where you can access a shared kitchenette, dining table, and living space with a wood-burning fireplace.

NORMAN ROCKWELL FIREHOUSE

For a truly one-of-a-kind experience, we’re proud to offer our Norman Rockwell Firehouse property as part of our village collection. This turn-of-the-twentieth-century firehouse was in use by the town of Stockbridge until the 1950’s and was even featured in Norman Rockwell’s painting “The New American LaFrance is Here.”

DINING AT THE MAIN INN

Surrounded by crystal chandeliers, antique china and colonial pewter, our historic Main Dining Room is an ideal place to spend a romantic evening or mark a special occasion. Long the focal point of our culinary reputation, the dining room’s menu features a blend of traditional favorites and contemporary interpretations of classic New England fare. Our wine list, featuring over 300 selections, is a perennial recipient of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence.

WIDOW BINGHAM’S TAVERN

Named for old Widow Bingham, one of the Inn’s original owners, this rustic and family-friendly tavern offers traditional favorites and updated classics. Hearty sandwiches, fresh salads and savory soups are served up in a cozy, yet somewhat quirky setting adorned with historic signs, old posters, wicker baskets, and a hodgepodge of other memorabilia.

THE COURTYARD

There’s nothing quite like basking under the shade of an umbrella while enjoying casual, outdoor dining on a lazy summer afternoon, or whiling away the evening with a cocktail under a star-filled sky. The flower-filled Courtyard provides a picturesque garden setting for lunch or dinner.

OUR POOL

We like to think there’s no real off-season when the pool is heated. Our pool and surrounding slate-tiled patio continue to be a guest favorite, no matter the time of year.
