In fact, we were the very first river cruise line to offer these signature view-enhancing “twin balconies.” Together, they provide a unique panoramic view of the beautiful sights along the river while inviting both fresh air and natural light inside. Dining

Our ships in Europe are members of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs – a prestigious international culinary society – and with good reason. Our expert chefs craft menus that feature exquisite, locally-sourced cuisine as well as traditional Western offerings. The Chef’s Table is an intimate specialty restaurant included in the price of the cruise where you can watch the chef prepare a lavish multi-course menu right in front of you. Each dinner at The Chef’s Table is served with complimentary local reds and whites from Europe’s renowned wine regions. There’s also sparkling wine and fresh juice with breakfast, menu service during lunch, as well as delicious tapas and snacks in the Main Lounge between meals.

Wellness

With fewer guests on board, we have space for luxurious amenities. Relax with a soothing massage or visit the hair salon after a day of exploring, stay in shape with a small group wellness activity led by a professionally trained Wellness Host, work out in the fitness room or watch breathtaking castles glide by while enjoying a cocktail up on the Sun Deck. You can also take a dip in our sun-deck pool with a swim-up bar. On any of our ships, you can also recharge from the comfort of your stateroom by watching a Hollywood blockbuster or a variety of other English-language programming on your personal Entertainment-On-Demand system.

Part of the draw of traveling to new destinations is immersing yourself in authentic local culture. We are happy to bring evening entertainment on board that includes musicians, folkloric dancers and storytellers who live and work in the cities we cruise to and are happy to share their cultural traditions and talents with you. Whether it’s traditional Bavarian music, a local quartet or contemporary piano favorites played by our resident musician, you will enjoy an eclectic schedule of onboard entertainment every night.
