You will purchase your visa at the airport before collecting your luggage and passing through customs. There is no immigration or visa form required. Certain nationalities require an entry visa to be obtained prior to travel. All U.S citizens travelling to Egypt will receive Forms upon arrival that they will need to fill out in order to obtain their Tourist Visa. Airport Staff will meet you before you enter immigration, and will assist with the Forms, the Visa Stamp, collecting your Luggage, and making your way through the Arrivals Hall to meet your Guide.
*A “Tourist Visa” is NOT the same as a standard Visa (that requires an application process at the Consulate.) A Tourist Visa is given to everyone entering Egypt as a Tourist, upon filling out the forms given to you upon arrival. The Tourist Visa comes in the form of a card (similar to a Business Card) that you keep with your Passport.
**Standard Visa’s are NOT required for US Passport holders traveling on any 206 Tours Pilgrimage (Tours 1 – 227 and Specials).
