DELUXE & PANORAMIC DELUXE

With unique, cosy and bright environments, the elegance of these oasis of comfort are accentuated by the careful color selection of curtains and furnishings. The headboard of the bed, fabric or leather padded, is enhanced by a gold or silver leaf frame with modern reading lights of an appealing design.

The furnishings consist of a spacious wardrobe with mirrored doors, fabric or leather armchair and wood desk with a granite top. The floors are either in parquet or a delicate beige coloured carpet.

The luxurious marble bathroom is complete with either a bathtub or shower and wall mirror with mosaic decoration. The terraces with a view that characterise the Panoramic Deluxe, help to make your stay even more relaxing. MONUMENT VIEW JUNIOR SUITE

A large and luxurious 322 square foot (30m2) room that offers a glimpse of the city of Dante. As in the most impressive of the renaissance paintings, from the two large windows of the Monument View Junior Suite, all of the most beautiful views of Florence are available to welcome you as our guest.

A large entrance hall extends to the living room furnished with a sofa, long desk and stone mosaic mirrors. The delightful sleeping area is subtly furnished in complementary shades of yellow, gold and blue.

The bathroom, also illuminated by a large window, is entirely covered with Italian marble and features a large shower enclosure with characteristic rain showerhead, double washbasin and a wall mirror with stone surround.

The New Style of the South Wing are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors.

In the relaxed and quiet atmosphere of the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, the chefs of the three in-house restaurants – the Taverna, the Ristorante Arno and the Ristorante Fiesole – are ready to welcome you to let you try the delicious specialties of the traditional local cuisine. The American Bar and Lounge is the right place to enjoy a wide choice of drinks before or after dinner.

La Arno

In the morning the Arno dining room offers an excellent breakfast, consisting of a large selection of sweet and savory products with a gluten free (AIC) option provided in a separate area. The wide variety of the buffet meets the needs of those who follow particular medical, ethical or religious diets.

The à la carte menu for lunch and dinner offers dishes made with the freshest of ingredients and includes the famous Florentine T-bone steak, a particularly precious cut of meat obtained from the Chianina breed of cattle.

La Taverna

Chef Ragoni, with years of Italian and international experience, focuses his cooks on the careful selection of the finest and freshest of ingredients to present the most authentic tastes of Italian cuisine in true Tuscan tradition. His fastidious cooking methods enhance the taste and texture of the selected ingredients as well as meet the needs of those who prefer healthy nutritious food.

The cozy, private ambience of the La Taverna restaurant is perfect for organising birthdays and small private parties.

La Fiesole

For galas, banquets or convivial dinners during events organised at the Globo Congress Center, the elegant, bright environment of the Fiesole Restaurant is the ideal choice for entertaining guests and delighting their palate.

Lounge Bar

The Lounge Bar is the perfect place to have an aperitif, sip cocktails and drinks, eat pizza and sandwiches, but also taste our chef’s dishes in a pleasant and informal setting.

The hotel’s restaurants provide 24-hour service upon request to reception for non-regular time slots with fast-food recommendations.

The restaurant, in line with the philosophy of the hotel, accepts small and medium-sized pets.

Breakfast is served from 6:30 until 10:00 am. The restaurant is open from 12:00 to 2:00 pm and again from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

Globo is the congress centre within the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo which includes 15 meeting rooms, most with natural light, in recently refurbished spaces and equipped with state of the art technology, perfect for organising small and large corporate events, congresses, conferences and to showcase product launches.

At your disposal is our efficient Optical Fiber Wi-Fi network with speeds of up to 100 Mbps. The fast Wi-Fi allows up to 500 total users and 300 simultaneous users to connect at once. The Access Point Dual Band device allows 100 users to be connected to each individual device (Ruckus) at the same time.
