FIADH

Fiadh is our newly renovated State of the Art restaurant in the Gleneagle Hotel. This relaxed and casual restaurant makes the most of its fantastic views of Killarney National Park. A light and airy space, it is the perfect setting for the famous Gleneagle breakfast. Once evening comes, visitors can choose from a delicious selection of dishes and desserts created by John Drummond and his team of chefs. Not forgetting the kids we have a delicious kids buffet available during school holidays. There’s also a full drinks menu including a great selection of wines, beers and spirits.

THE BACKSTAGE BAR AND OD’S RESTAURANT

The Backstage Bar opens at 11am daily offering a choice of speciality teas and coffees as well as a delicious selection of baked goods made inhouse by our chefs. Adjoining the Backstage Bar, O’Ds Restaurant offers the evening menu with last orders at 9pm. Lunch menu is available from 1pm midweek and from 12.30 noon over week-ends’. The bar itself serves a fantastic selection of wines by the glass, craft beers and cocktails. Major sporting events are shown on the big screen, there’s also regular live music and drinks al fresco in the outdoor area during the summer months.

THE GREEN ROOM

The Greenroom is our famous residents’ bar – the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif or a nightcap before bed. The Greenroom also offers a delicious selection of light bites and snacks and there are loads of cosy corners to simply sit back, relax and watch the world go by.

Wellness

The leisure centre at The Gleneagle Hotel offers a fantastic selection of indoor and outdoor facilities. It is open to hotel residents, members and day visitors alike.

SWIMMING POOLS

We have two great swimming pools in our leisure centre. Our large pool is 25metres in length, the shallow end is 0.9metres deep and the deep end is 1.57metres deep. This pool includes two dedicated swim lanes – perfect if your exercise regime includes swimming laps. Wearing a swimming hat is compulsory. Our Kids’ Splash Pool is ideal for children and learners. Its depth ranges from 0.4metre to 0.6metre. We also have an adult’s only suite which includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi – ideal for unwinding after an energetic swim or workout. This relaxation area is an adult only zone and for those aged 18 years or over.

TENNIS

We have two outdoor, savannah tennis courts. Each court can be floodlit for evening play. Gleneagle residents and Aquila Club members enjoy free court rental, while day visitors can pay to hire the courts. Rackets and balls are also available for hire. Rental costs €5 for two rackets and tennis balls for one hour. Floodlights, if required, also incur a charge.

SQUASH

The Gleneagle Hotel is home to two squash courts and The Gleneagle Squash Club. Gleneagle residents and Aquila Club members enjoy free court rental, while day visitors can pay to hire the courts.

PITCH AND PUTT

Our 18-hole Pitch and Putt course opens at 10am every morning (weather dependent), the course closes at 9pm during the summer months. It usually takes between one and two hours to complete all 18 holes. Residents of The Gleneagle along with member of the Aquila Club monthly members can play the course free of charge. There is a charge to hire clubs (€5 per set), should you need to do so. Day visitors are also welcome to play the course but must pay green fees.
