The award-winning Menlo Park Hotel is a four-star, family owned hotel in Galway City. Located just 1.2km from Eyre Square, adjacent to the Wild Atlantic Way and conveniently near the N6, it offers the perfect base for anyone looking to explore Galway and its surroundings as well as corporate travel or guests visiting NUIG or the University Hospital Galway.
The Hotel was opened by Paddy Francis and his son John on the 12th of June 1998 and was built on land that the family lived on for many generations. With great history surrounding the area many of the conference suites named after local characters. The Hotel has grown to a 81 bed-room property over the years with continuous investment into all bed-rooms including the newest addition of luxurious Deluxe Rooms and Suites in 2017.
The hotel is always at the hub of the local community and our national and international guests mingle with our local clientele in our busy P. Francis & Son Bar and Bistro, and enjoy wonderful local fresh cuisine in our Oliver & McGlynn Restaurant.

Each of our 54 classic guest rooms has been designed with your relaxation and comfort in mind and have recently been updated with new fluffy carpets, memory foam mattresses and new beds & furniture. These rooms are classic in style can be booked as single room (queen size bed), double room (queen size bed), twin room (queen size and single bed) or king room (king size bed).
All our spacious classic rooms are en-suite with bath and overhead shower. All bathrooms in have been recently refurbished and are contemporary in style with the majority having fabulous waterfall showers as well as a bath. These rooms are perfect for business or leisure stays.

THE PLACE TO EAT IN GALWAY
Here at the Menlo Park Hotel, we are very proud to be able to offer our guests some excellent dining choices. If you are looking for the perfect casual dining experience with a varying and delectable menu to match, then our newly refurbished P. Francis & Son Bar & Bistro is where you need to go. Carvery Lunch is available daily from 12noon – 3pm Monday-Saturday with a variety of home cooked roasts and all the trimmings. Light bites, soups and vegetarian options are also available.
Breakfast is served daily from 7am (8am on weekends) and is available for both in-house guests as well as walk-ins. We offer a wide selection of continental and full Irish breakfast options as well as home made breads and speciality coffees.
But if you are seeking a more intimate environment, to immerse yourselves in leisurely conversation while enjoying a tantalisingly true eating experience, then make sure to book a table in our Oliver & McGlynn Restaurant.
