Itinerary
Day 1, Depart United States
Your pilgrimage begins with an overnight flights to Lisbon. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.
Day 2, Arrive in Lisbon
Join the other pilgrims for a tour of Lisbon, including St. Jerome's Monastery, the iconic Belem Tower, and St. Anthony's Church (where we’ll have Mass). Check in to your hotel, and enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 3, Lisbon, Santarem & Fatima
In Santarem, attend Mass at the Church of St. Stephen. Head to Fatima to visit the village of Aljustrel, home to the three children who saw Our Lady of Fatima. Visit the local parish. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4, Fatima
See the Little Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, and Holy Trinity Basilica. Pray the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra, then visit Valinhos. Prayer and a candlelight procession.
Day 5, Depart Fatima, Arrive in Salamanca
Take a walking tour of Salamanca and see the grand Plaza Mayor, La Clerecia, the University of Salamanca, the Roman Bridge, La Iglesia de San Marcos, and La Iglesia de San Martin. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 6, Salamanca, Alba de Tormes, Avila & Burgos
In Alba de Tormes, celebrate Mass at the monastery St. Teresa founded. Visit Avila, walking in St. Teresa’s footsteps, and Burgos, the capital of Old Castile. Enjoy dinner and a free evening.
Day 7, Burgos, Loyola & Lourdes
Visit the birthplace of St. Ignatius, and see the basilica dedicated to him. Enjoy free time for lunch. Take a bus trip through the Pyrenees Mountains to Lourdes. Check in to the hotel and have dinner.
Day 8 & 9, Lourdes
Attend Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, watch a film on Lourdes, visit the healing springs, see St. Bernadette’s birthplace, and more. End both days with dinner, prayer, and a candlelight procession.
Day 10, Depart Lourdes
Say “au revoir,” and revel in the memories as the bus transports you to the airport for your flight home.
