Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary: Day 1 - Depart USA Depart from New York, JFK or from your hometown for the overnight flight to France. Day 2 - Lourdes Upon your arrival in Lourdes transfer to your hotel. Relax or explore before dinner, followed by a candlelight procession before retiring. Dinner and overnight. Days 3 & 4 - Lourdes Mass at the Grotto, enjoy a video presentation telling the story of Lourdes, and walk in the footsteps of St Bernadette. See Boly Mill where St Bernadette was born and the "Cachot," an abandoned prison where Bernadette's impoverished family. Join your prayers with those of pilgrims from around the world as you pray for the sick, drink water from the miraculous spring or submerge yourself in the healing baths. Experience Christ's love as you walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross overlooking the holy Grotto. Kneel in the chapel built on the very rock of the Grotto, in obedience to the request of the "Immaculate Conception." Evenings are for Blessed Sacrament Procession before dinner. Your role in the universal church will have new meaning as you join the candlelight procession and group rosary. Day 5 - Lourdes - Rome After breakfast leave on our flights to Rome. Upon arrival your escort will warmly greet you this morning and welcome you to Italy. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon for rest, relaxation, or exploration. Day 7 - Rome This morning we depart for a sightseeing tour with focus on "Christian Rome" .Touring we will see many important cultural and monumental sights around Rome. Stop for a visit at three major Basilicas: St Mary Major, one of the oldest shrines dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, a shrine that contains a relic from the manger of the infant Jesus. The Basilica of the St John in Lateran, is the former residence of the popes prior to their return to Rome in 1377. St Paul Outside the Walls, which houses the remains of St Paul under its main altar. We will also see the ancient Baths of Caracalla, Arch of Drusus, Chapel "O'Domine Quo Vadis?" the remains of imperial tombs, Tomb of Celilia Metella, and the catacombs of St Callixtus where the early Christians hid themselves to escape persecution. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 8Transfer to the airport for your flights to Krakow. Your tour director is at the airport to warmly greet you and soon you're comfortably settled at your hotel, then perhaps a short stroll in the old city before or after your dinner. After breakfast we explore Market Square and hear the silver trumpet of the bugler from St Mary's Tower. Within the Cathedral you may pray before the extraordinary Wit Stwosz altar. The surroundings of the square have remained unchanged for almost 700 years and contain buildings of historic value such as St. Mary’s Church with the famous wooden altar, the Town Hall Tower, the Cloth Hall and the burgher’s houses. Tour the Cathedral, Coronation Chapel and the Royal Chambers where a superb collection of Arras tapestries is on view. In the afternoon we go to Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi concentration camp. We will see the cell that imprisoned St Maximillian Kolbe and the Martyrdom Museum recalling the horrors of the Holocaust. Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight. After breakfast we depart for our day's excursion to Lagiewniki. The capital of the Divine Mercy. It was here that originated the message of the Divine Mercy, which Christ Himself wished to pass on to our generation, through the mediation of St. Faustina. The Sanctuary houses grace-working image of Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. We will visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy, St. Faustina's convent chapel, and we will visit St. Faustina's Tomb. Return to Krakow for our farewell dinner. After breakfast we depart for our flights or motor coach journey to Budapest. Upon arrival in Budapest enjoy free time to explore before dinner. Often compared with Rome, this glamorous city has something to offer every visitor. Overnight.
Day 12 - Budapest After breakfast we will tour the older section of the city. After celebrating Mass at the 13th-century Cathedral of St Matthew, we will see the Citadel on Mount Gellert, the Royal Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, the Parliament, Heroes' Square, and the Church of St Stephen. Dinner and overnight.
Day 13 - Budapest - Vienna, Austria After breakfast we motor through the lush Austrian countryside to Vienna, Austria's capital. We will celebrate Mass at St Stephen's Cathedral, an imposing structure dating to the 13th century. We'll have time for Viennese pastry and coffee before seeing the State Opera House, home to the Vienna Boys' Choir, and Schonbrunn Palace. This sprawling, royal 'summer house' has 1,441 rooms including a Hall of Mirrors where Mozart performed at the age of six before a young Marie Antoinette. Dinner and overnight.
Day 14 - Vienna After breakfast we visit Prince Eugene's Belvedere Palace and the seemingly endless Hofburg Palace. Later we'll get a different look at Vienna, from the seat in the Prater's enormous Ferris wheel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 15 - Vienna - USA We depart from Vienna Airport for our return flights to the USA .
